Hell yeah, Leh was a wild ride.
And no, we’re not just saying that. When Royal Enfield invited Lifeworks Studios to document the Himalayan 452 in its developmental phase, deep in the frozen north, we knew this wasn’t going to be just another automotive photography gig. This was high-altitude photography and filmmaking at its rawest. Temperatures dove below freezing, the roads were blanketed in ice, and oxygen was a rare luxury. But we were ready.

Armed with our passion for travel, love for offbeat locations, and a crew fixed for the wild, we jumped straight into the action to capture the spirit of the all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452. Raw. Rugged. Real.

We were there to tell a story. Not just of the motorcycle, but of what it means to explore without limits, and to create branded content that moves people.

Meet the Maverick – Louis Rudd
Royal Enfield brought in none other than Louis Rudd, a polar explorer, military veteran, and a man who’s crossed Antarctica under his own power (twice!). A fellow of the Explorers Club and Royal Geographical Society, Louis is a living embodiment of resilience, and the perfect rider to push the Himalayan 452 to its edge.

From Khardung La to Chang La, riding at altitudes peaking at 18,000 ft, this shoot wasn’t about perfection, it was about patience. Snow covered tracks. Wind that cuts through every layer. Landscapes that humbled even the boldest machines.

What We Captured
At Pangong Lake, with its glassy, frozen expanse under a pale sun, we shot aerial sequences and dynamic drone photography that didn’t just capture movement, but mood. The kind that makes you feel the bite of the cold and the thrill of the unknown.
We played with contrasts, raw metal vs frozen terrain, power vs silence, and motion vs isolation, crafting a narrative that stayed true to the soul of the Himalayan 452.
With a compact team, robust camera rigs, drone setups, and weather sealed equipment, we welcome the unpredictability of extreme location production. Every frame was earned through frostbitten mornings, endless recces, and machines roaring to life against brutal backdrops.
These visuals weren’t just about making the bike look good, they were about making people feel the adventure. The campaign generated a buzz not just among motorheads but adventure seekers, explorers, and those who dream of the open road.
At Lifeworks Studios, we are a full-service production house offering end-to-end photo and video production services tailored to your vision. From the first estimate and location scouting to casting, pre-production, on-set coordination, and post-production, we handle every detail with precision. Our goal is simple – to make your shoot not just successful, but smooth, and collaborative. With us, production isn’t just a process, it’s an experience you’ll want to repeat.
We specialize in automotive photography, aerial shoots, offbeat travel digital films, commercial production, and storytelling that resonates, no matter the terrain.
