Event Coverage for 135 Years of USPA

The 135th anniversary celebration of USPA, hosted at the Jaipur Polo Grounds in Delhi on March 5th, 2025, was a perfect example of how legacy and lifestyle come together to create something unforgettable. The event carried with it a sense of timelessness. And for us at Lifeworks Studios, it wasn’t just about documenting, it was about elevating event photography into a form of storytelling, translating the energy, elegance, and legacy of USPA into visuals that will be remembered.

Big events like these aren’t just about wide frames and grand moments. They’re about knowing where to look when no one’s looking. From the moment we arrived, our role was clear, tell the story without interrupting it. That’s what a good event photography & film-making team does.

What We Bring to the Table as an Event Photographer

At events like these, expectations from official photographers and cinematographers are high and rightly so. You’re not just there to “cover” the event. You’re expected to read the room, anticipate the moment, blend in when needed, and step up, when it counts.

We’re constantly working with lighting, framing, angles, and timing but what really makes a difference is instinct. The ability to see beyond the obvious. Knowing that a passing glance between two guests might tell a bigger story than the staged photo op. Or that a single step forward during a ramp walk might be the most elegant moment of the night.

Our team brings not only top-tier equipment but also a solid sense of timing, attention to detail, and editing that enhances the mood of the event without turning it into something it wasn’t. No filters that distract, no over-styled edits. lean, crisp visuals that feel real and refined.

Of course, part of what made the event so memorable was the incredible lineup of guests. Over 300 guests arrived, from Harshvardhan Kapoor, Palak Tiwari, and Rannvijay Singha to Varun Sood, Lakshya, Babil Khan, and Nitish Rana, the gathering reflected USPA’s blend of heritage and modern cool. Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur added a regal touch to the evening, while J. Michael Prince and Kulin Lalbhai brought the global and business perspective into the mix.

For us, photographing them wasn’t about snapping celebrity portraits. It was about capturing them in the moment – candid and present.

Day two took the celebration to the field for the USPA India vs. USPA Global match. The energy shifted, but our approach remained the same, stay alert, stay ready, and capture the action without disrupting the vibe.

As the sun dipped, the evening moved into the D’Monde Members Club for the unveiling of the Spring-Summer ’25 collection. The runway lights came on, the crowd leaned in, and we switched gears, focusing on fabric textures, walk sequences, crowd reactions, and the overall rhythm of the show. It’s during fashion showcases that an eye for timing really matters, you either catch the look in motion or miss it completely.

At Lifeworks Studios, we’ve photographed everything from intimate gatherings to high-profile brand launches. As a trusted production house offering premium photo and video production services, it’s not just about photos. It’s about capturing energy, telling stories, and delivering a visual memory that reflects the true essence of the event.

Because great events deserve to be remembered. And we make sure they are beautiful, honest, and in full detail.
